LSB Round 12: Metropoli defeat Grecia in the closest game of the week

This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Grecia (4-7) to eighth ranked Metropoli (3-8) 68-65 on Sunday evening. Metropoli moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Abogados and Roswell. Grecia at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Metropoli is looking forward to face Abogados (#6) in the next round. Grecia will play against ARBA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from San Jose: Escazu (#1) and ARBA (#3). ARBA was defeated at home 77-92 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ARBA. Undefeated Escazu (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. ARBA at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Escazu will play against Limon Sh. (#4) on the road in the next round. ARBA will play against Grecia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game between Top Four teams took place in . Second ranked host PFC (9-3) smashed 4th ranked Limon Sh. (5-4) 87-65. Newly promoted PFC maintains second position with 9-3 record behind leader Escazu. Limon Sh. lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. PFC will meet bottom-ranked Roswell (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Limon Sh. will play against Roswell (#8) and hope to secure a win.

In the last game of round 12 Abogados won against Roswell on the opponent's court 82-67.
